A woman with long dark hair smiling, wearing a green button-up shirt and hoop earrings, sitting against a white textured wall.

hi, I'm anna.

I know what's happening in your industry. Right now. Not in 2015. (and if I don’t know I will make it my business to find out)

I'm a career development specialist and L&D consultant. I work with STEM professionals, green economy career changers, and organisations navigating industry transition.

I’m in my 4th career and about to train for the 5th (looking at you, Pilates teacher training). Science, education, HR, career development, I've collected the qualifications along the way because I actually needed them, not because they look good on a slide.

Here's what that means for you. I read Labour Market data the way other people read the news. So when we talk strategy, it's built on what's actually happening in your industry, not gut feel and not a generic template. If a qualification exists in Australia and it's worth your time, I'll know it. If it doesn't exist yet, I'll tell you that too. Most coaches can't.

I've worked with engineers pivoting to sustainability, scientists moving into policy, energy professionals navigating transition. If you sit at the intersection of technical skill and an industry that's shifting under your feet, you're exactly who I work with.

What I do

A woman with shoulder-length hair, wearing a light blue shirt and jeans, is walking inside a modern office hallway. She is holding a tablet and smiling. The hallway has wooden flooring, glass walls, potted plants, and hanging ceiling lights.

I use real data, not gut feel.

So when we co design your career strategy, it's not a guess. You'll know exactly where the demand is, which skills to lean on, and which employers are actually hiring in your space. Not what worked for someone else in 2015.

A man wearing a white helmet and black jacket outdoors during sunset.

I know the training landscape. Like, really know it..

Thinking about a qualification but not sure it's worth the money? I'll tell you straight. If it's accredited, credible and worth your time, I'll point you to it. If it's a $3,000 waste, or you’re better off applying another strategy to up-skill, I'll tell you that too. You won't find that out from a course brochure.

A young woman with curly hair and glasses sitting on an orange rug, leaning against a white couch while working on her laptop in a bright living room with large windows and green plants.

STEM and green economy is my niche.

Which means you don't have to explain your industry to me before we can start. Engineers pivoting to sustainability, scientists moving into policy, energy professionals navigating transition, I already speak your language. So we skip the 101 and get straight to your actual problem.

Careers work is social justice work. Everyone who comes through the door deserves the chance to shine, be properly challenged, and feel valued. I take that seriously. I just won’t be precious about it while we do the work.

Career Tools & Job Search Resources

4 offers with freebie energy. (except you pay for these ones, because they're worth it.)

For people who want to figure out what's broken before spending more time on the wrong fix.

  • A man with glasses and gray hair working on a computer in a modern, industrial-style office with large windows, brick walls, and plants on the desk.

    T-Shaped Professional Audit $27

You know you have more to offer than your job title suggests. You just can't quite say what it is.

    That's the problem this fixes.

The T-Shaped Career Audit is a self-guided workbook that maps what you actually bring to work - your breadth, your depth, and the foundation underneath both. So the next time someone asks "tell me about yourself"... you've got a real answer.

Useful at any career stage. Essential if you're job searching, going for a promotion, or just tired of underselling yourself.

What you’ll get: An 8-page workbook. Guided prompts. A synthesis page that turns your audit into a statement you can actually use. Instant download.

$27. About a week’s worth of takeaway Matcha Lattes. Considerably more useful (IMHO)

Too cheap to be useful? It's priced low because career clarity should be accessible. Not because it's flimsy.

  • LinkedIn Profile Audit $197

Ready for honest eyes on it?

No scheduling gymnastics. No live session. Just specific, recorded feedback on the thing that's doing the most work before anyone meets you: your LinkedIn Profile.

What you’ll get: An honest, specific, recorded video review of your LinkedIn profile. What's working, what's costing you, exactly what to fix.

Delivered as a Loom video within 3 business days.

All I need is the link to your current LinkedIn profile! Go on, you know you want the Anna tea.

  • Two women are engaged in a conversation during a meeting; one is smiling and wearing glasses, while the other is smiling and gesturing with her hand.

    Relationship First- Networking $37

Find networking a bit awkward? Yup, can be- but not with my framework.

Networking is like insurance. Kinda boring-but important until you desperately need it.

The best time to build your network is when you don’t need it. The second best time is now.

What you’ll get: Scripts and templates for reaching out without being weird about it. Cold outreach, warm reconnects, informational interviews, follow-ups that don't feel desperate.

    This is “The don't-propose-on-the-first-date” approach.

  • A woman wearing a hijab and headphones sitting at a terrazzo table, smiling and waving while looking at a rectangular device in front of her.

    Job Search Reset $47

If you’ve been searching for a while, the Job Search Reset Framework is for YOU.

Looking for a new job is complicated no matter when, why, where or what you’re looking for.

Two things in one: diagnose what's broken in your search, then find where the market heat actually is. Australian data sources. Real tools. The kind of information most people don't know exists.

What you’ll get: Australian data sources. Real tools. The kind of information most people don't know exists.

Career coaching for STEM professionals and people who are done guessing.

That's what we fix. Together.

  • A woman with long, wavy brown hair sitting at a table, smiling and holding a black device, possibly a tablet or e-reader, in a room with a dark textured wall background.

The Career Design Series 3 sessions - $1,500

    The whole thing. With me.

Three sessions. One framework. You leave with a complete strategy and the confidence to act on it. We investigate what's actually happening in your corner of the labour market - with real data, not gut feel. We design your strategy. Then we experiment your way in.

You leave with: a labour market analysis, skills audit, networking plan, value proposition, outreach scripts, interview prep, and a 90-day action plan. Plus tailored support between sessions.

Particularly useful for STEM professionals, green economy career changers, and anyone who's been applying for three months and getting nowhere.

Not sure if it's the right fit? The curiosity call is free. No pitch, no pressure. If it's not me, I'll tell you. That's not a line.

TESTIMONIALS

  • Patricia

“I highly recommend working with Anna! Anna has helped me discover new things about myself. The discussions flowed easily and in learning new things about myself and my strengths it opened up career ideas and directions I had not previously considered. I always finished each session feeling motivated and energised. Even months later I am still reaping the benefits. Thank you Anna!”

  • Cameron

“Anna guided our daughter in clarifying options for her before picking subjects for her HSC. She immediately took to Anna’s approachable personality and set her at ease. Anna was just what we needed to ensure she knew what future careers options were. Anna supplemented the information that her school did not provide. The insights Anna had about industries were out of this world. I wish everyone had an Anna for their high school children, she really did take away a lot of the stresses and pressures going into subject selection.  I felt Anna minimised future heart aches for us, nothing felt like business and nothing was rushed. Do you and your children a favour and get in contact with Anna for your sanity and your children’s.”

  • Caoimhe

“I can personally recommend Anna as an exceptional career coach. Her ability to listen attentively, ask insightful questions, and provide tailored guidance has been instrumental in helping me clarify my goals and take confident steps forward in my career. Anna’s friendly approach is both supportive and practical, offering strategies that are actionable and results-driven. She also offers online sessions so location is not an issue.”

  • Sharon

“I worked with Anna to clarify and set some clear vision around my employment goals and skills, allowing me to work towards honing in on my employability skills and knowledge as well as my strengths and professional qualities. Anna was so easy to talk with. She was gentle in her approach, knowledgeable around current employment struggles and listened when I needed a sounding board. Anna helped me to look at strategies for self reflection within the workplace as well as implementing these strategies for self clarity and goal setting. I would highly recommend Anna to anyone who needs not only an employment coach, but a well educated, gentle and down to earth professional to discuss their employment and life plans with.”
